Kunstwerkstatt Turmstraße Monheim am Rhein
Partizipatives Kunstprojekt, Veranstaltungen, Aktionen im öffentlichen Raum
Sperrmüllmöbel, Holzreste, Möbelrollen, Zeichnungen auf DIN A5 Aquarellpapier
2026

2026
From March through May 2026, in collaboration with the Kunstwerkstatt Monheim am Rhein, a mobile art workshop was created from donated furniture and bulky waste:
A wall cabinet became a rolling art library, a shoe cabinet turned into a fold-out multifunctional table, and a filing cabinet transformed into a multipurpose seating display—three three sculptural, mobile elements that can be used individually or together for interventions in urban spaces and have become part of the art workshop’s inventory.
An empty storefront in downtown Monheim served as a workshop and workspace, which quickly evolved into a lively meeting place.
In parallel with the sculptural work, drawings of their favorite pieces of furniture—created together with residents
of all ages—were produced there, as well as a record of the conversations about the furniture.
